Christine Sayer is a Central Victorian photographer who finds photography an exciting medium to convey ideas and express emotion. Christine has been taking photographs for the Castlemaine Mail’s ‘Social Scene’ for the past 17 years.
Since she was a child photography has been her ‘hobby’ but she felt a need to expand her skills, particularly in regard to the use of light. She says that her course in photography at Latrobe University in 2009 taught her the skills she needed to capture the kind of images she wanted to create.
Christine has won an impressive range of awards and participated in a number of group exhibitions, including three solo exhibitions, in the past few years. As can be seen from those published here they are very impressive, and it is in fact the image of Grandpa’s Car (below) that she has donated for sale in our Auction.
More of Christine’s work can be seen on her Facebook page.
