Lesley Little is an artist without formal training. She started creating her interesting collage pieces many years ago on the theme of women of character. Her first exhibition occurred after one of her works was seen by a framer. Of the 38 works on show 27 of them sold – what you could call a happily successful outcome.
“I fell in love with Chewton about 10 years ago and have been living here quietly now for 6 years, though the neighbours might disagree. Its a beautiful peaceful little country town thats still conveniently close to Castlemaine and Melbourne, where I’ve been exhibiting my artwork on a regular basis since moving here. My latest pictures are a combination of paint and collage melding to form quirky scenes.”
