The Chewton Pool Inc Annual General Meeting is coming up on Sunday 11 August.
We are looking for people to take on roles on the Management Committee and Sub Committees. Our Secretary since commencing three years ago is stepping back from this role, so if you have sound administrative skills we would welcome your nomination.
We are keen to have parents of children using the pool step up to the roles on the Management Committee.
Is it hard? Not really… We have paid staff who do the hard yards, so our task on the Committee is to guIde operations and future development and to manage risk. We meet every couple of months to make decisions, so the time commitment is not too bad.
Our sub committees handle activities such as events and fundraising and media, as well as keeping the facilities in good shape.
